    Donna,
I think hanging in with the jams & having at least a few more, on a regular schedule, could HELP to have more people show up. Maybe you want to wait a BIT until the winter weather is not so bad, but hopefully not for very long. Before jams stopped last summer, the last ones that were at Moon Doggies were WELL attended, and we jammed until closing at the last one! I think regular meetings would help a LOT. People get into a rhythm of going there & a reliable schedule helps I think.

Hi Donna, and thanks for understanding. I feel really bad I let you down last Sun because I wasn't able to give you advance notice (change RSVP to NO) before the jam and I knew you only had a few people there playing. The Gadolinium made me very nauseous with a bad headache, and I was too sick to play. I hope you got the cell-phone message so you'd know why I wasn't there. Yes this is a horribly hot summer to play outside mid-day but I'm looking forward to the next jam! The sooner the better! :)

OK - understood, no problem. My mother lives in a Senior Housing place in Teaneck, so I know exactly what you mean about the residents complaining and being "crotchety" <G>. Although it really freaked me out one Saturday evening when I was coming home, and they had entertainment that night after dinner (they usually have some entertainment 3 or so nights a week) and a guitarist was cranking out "Johnny B Goode" on his LP & the old ladies (with walkers) were up doing the twist! Some are 100+!

We (me and Mary) expect to get there around 12. In the morning we have to run some errands for my Mom, and then after the Market, we have to get back to her place to help her out with with some paperwork and other issues (but the things we have to do in the morning are not things that we can wait to do until the afternoon). We'll try and get there as soon as we can. What is the decision about our being able to bring amps and/or electrics since this is an outdoor jam. I promise moderate levels!!

I am happy. I hope we all can go out together metal detecting
when you get delivery of your units.
Please make sure you go to the websites to get the Metal Detecting Permits
for your local area. NYC is Free, westchester and LI and about $20.00 Each

    Hi Donna,
I totally understand about the size of Moon Doggie and would be happy to bring my acoustic, and wait for the outdoor jams for the electric. How do these jams work as far as what music we play? Do each of us bring our own songs to do and take turns at the mic, or is it more a group thing with each song, or both? Either way is fine for me, and I have a lot of Folk songs I've love to do - especially Dylan and Neil Young as my voice is UP there when I sing! I'm looking forward to it!
