What is your favorite book to moive adaptation?

What's really weird is that I haven't watched that many. I read The Devil Wears Prada but still haven't watched the movie!

What is your favorite book genre / type of book to read?

Both fiction and nonfiction; chick lit, books about music, some biographies. Pretty much everything except science fiction and most thrillers, but that's mostly because I don't have the time!! :P

Why did you decide to join a bookclub?

I've always been an avid reader, especially when I was younger; but being in college, I haven't been reading for pleasure as much for the past few years, and this would be a great way get back to it. Also, I wanted to meet cool & nice new people.

Are you a Miami/Florida native or new to town? If you are new, what made you move here?

Technically, i'm not a native (born in New Jersey), but i've lived in Miami since I was 5 or so, so by now I'd consider myself a native.

What's the last book you read cover to cover?

Julie & Julia for the book club. ;) Before that, it was some Harlequin romance novel I can't remember the title of, The Kite Runner (still need to read the follow-up!), and some textbooks from last semester (LOL).
