Reiki Brigade: Practice/Share

We'll start off with introductions to help build the community, and by sending Reiki out into the world, then we'll share Reiki with each other. Following the Reiki, we'll share experiences, feedback, knowledge, and community with others on their Reiki path. We look forward to sharing with you!

If you're new to Reiki, come with an open heart and questions. If you've taken Reiki class(es), come to practice what you've learned in a supportive space—and receive some Reiki in the bargain. Either way, it'll be a healing adventure.

The Reiki Brigade has offered nearly 8,000 Reiki sessions to highly stressed communities (CPD, CFD, incarcerated youth, homeless veterans, violence interrupters, etc.) since 2011. As part of our outreach, we invite recipients to join us at our monthly Reiki Shares, and encourage them to take a Reiki class, as a means to help them be more self-sufficient in their healing process. More than 30 volunteers are active in the Reiki Brigade.

These Shares are open to anyone who has taken at least one Reiki class. Reiki-curious folks are welcome to attend one Share before taking a class. Classes are listed in this Meetup calendar.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
» The event begins at 7:00pm. There is a security system and you will need to be buzzed in (Here's the Rub: #019), therefore arrive after introductions at your own risk. The buzzer inner may be blissing out with Reiki. =0)

» Contribution: $10 donation suggested to help defer Reiki Brigade operating expenses (no one turned away for lack of funds)

» Travel: There is plenty of free parking, and we're around the corner from the Irving Park Brown Line stop. It's easy.
