What are a few of your favorite games; ones you almost never turn down a chance to play and you know so well you could explain it to others?

1960: The Making of a President, Fresco, San Juan, Nile Deluxor

Where do you live?

Bay View

What description fits you most - casual player, novice gamer, intermediate gamer, advanced gamer?

i'm a casual player who would like to play more, but work, family life and lack of gamers around me hinders my time playing games.

What is your favorite type of game - Mass market, Euro, War game, Ameritrash?

Probably euro, but as I mentioned above, war-games are beginning to pull my interest more.

What do you hope to get out of joining a organized gaming group – private events, public events, introduction to the hobby, serious gaming opportunities, social networking, just someone to game with, etc?

I would like to games that my family either has no interest in or no time to play. Games like Twilight Struggle, war-games, Here I Stand, Age of Empires, and Pillars of the Earth. I also think it would be fun to have mini-tournaments with games once in a while.

Hello, I'm a relatively new gamer who became aware of the euro-style games in the winter of 2009. Before that it was Monopoly, Clue, and Life style games. I'm becoming interested in war-games, but haven't any one in my family who likes them.
