The Shoreline Trolley Museum Opens its doors to photographers a couple of times a year for twilight photo opportunities. We did this last year and had a fun time with a bunch of meetup members. This year I plan on bringing one of my BFLs (big friggin' lights) and trying some trolley light painting.

Participants can pay their own way at the station. The night session starts at 7pm. A trolley will take you from the station into the yard and about a mile down the line should you like. As the sun sets the trolleys are brought back for some dusk shots under the glow of the yard lights.

Check out last year's images. Any camera will do but a tripod is recommended. A flash is not really needed as the best images are made with the available light of the yard. Did I mention the bug spray? Yeah- you'll want that. A flashlight might be helpful to get back to the parking lot at the close of the event. Hiking shoes or at least your most stable walkers are a helpful addition and bring a bottled water as the yard does not sell any.

$10 per adult, $8 seniors, and kids 2-15 are $6. Participants will pay the museum directly upon arrival: there no option to pay here and RSVPing is for the group only. The first trolley leaves at 7pm. The event will be run weather permitting as determined by the museum and conductors.
