We're getting back into the swing of things and August is full of photo & photo educational opportunities. In addition to our regular line up of camera classes we're offering a few of our more popular shooting events that cost little to nothing to attend.
~Bluefish baseball, Flower power macro/flower shoot with Hoodman demo, Seagull shoot at Gulf Beach, Paparazzi Run III.
~Phil has 2 units of his Intro to Studio lighting scheduled. This workshop has proven valuable to those folks looking to learn about easy studio head shot technique. The group is kept small so everyone gets a chance to shoot frames on 3 or 4 different light setups.
~I just posted a workshop with Harold Shapiro. He loves the Mercy Center in Madison: peaceful, photogenic and accessable. Sounds like a nice morning out.
~For you photo history buff's our own Lachell Workman is doing a one night presentation on African American Photographers. See you there.
~Interested in manual exposure and hand held light meters? Consider the workshop on Aug 10th. I'll review manual setting technique, exposure evaluation and meter use in the class room then we'll go out and do some shooting.
And that's just the next 6 weeks! Look for more in the fall. We hope to have events sponsored by Tamron, Sigma, Nikon, and Canon. Your participation helps bring these folks back.
See you soon! Jess and Phil
