September #MidsTest Returns:
Details
We are pleased to announce that MidsTest returns to Coventry, for the first time in over 2 years since Covid lockdown!
**Please note**: this location is not the one we used to use at Walsgrave - this is only a few minutes away on the other side of the M6 Island:
Ansty Park, Unit 1, Draken Drive, Coventry CV7 9RD
About the Talk:
Hourglass into Pyramid: how you can improve the structure of your tests.
One of the ways to prevent bugs from escaping into the wild and affecting customer experience is using test automation. The earlier the bug is caught, the less expensive it is to resolve. It comes as no surprise that many companies have a long history of test automation. They also try to maintain a healthy Test Pyramid. However, as software projects grow, often the shape of the Test Pyramid can become quite the reverse of that intended and, in fact, a poorly maintainable Ice-Cream Cone.
About our speakers:
Ulad Ramanenka - Senior iOS QA Engineer at Bumble
******************************
Networking is until 19:00, so you are welcome to arrive early and chat with people.
Then the presentation will begin, followed by complimentary food & further networking until 21:00 (but you don't have to stay that late if you don't want to).
After the talk there is the opportunity for all attendees to take part in 99 Second Talks, where they can use the time to trial a presentation they plan to give, ask for help to the community, share something they are passionate about, virtually anything they can think of.
Free parking is available at the venue.
