This public forum, sponsored by Atheists for Human Rights, features journalist, outspoken atheist and occasional comedian Jamila Bey. The full title of the presentation is "Our Eroding Civil Rights: Women as the Canary in the Mine Shaft."

After serving for a decade at National Public Radio as a producer and editor, Jamila is currently a freelance journalist, and she's working on a book about Atheism in African-American culture. She is devoted to spreading the gospel of logic, reason, and science to all and strongly believes in using the protections of the first amendment to speak out against the trampling of human rights based on faith-based thinking.
