Our billboard campaign will be coming to a close on February 19. Since they went up on January 24 the Minnesota Atheists have been given some good media attention including a 10pm top news story on KSTP (Ch. 5), front page on the Pioneer Press, featured interview on the KFAI morning talk show and blogged about on Star Tribune, City Pages and many other sites.

Thanks to all of our volunteers and generous donations the billboards became a very affordable and successful first-time venture!
You're invited to celebrate our accomplishments, future endeavors, and freethinking atheism throughout Minnesota on Thursday, February 16 at 7pm at The Public House in Minneapolis. The Public House is across the street from our illuminated billboard in Minneapolis (700 North Washington Ave.) The restaurant offers a wide selection of craft beers on tap, bottled beer, and wine. They also offer cuisine that will satisfy both vegetarians and carnivorous atheists. The management staff has agreed to extend their Happy Hour specials to our group after 7pm! Here is the MENU
If you're looking for our group I'll be wearing a purple Minnesota Atheists t-shirt. Bring a camera (or your phone) so you can take a picture of the billboard before it gets taken down the following Monday. Hope to see you there!
