We opened our meetup.com website in March of 2009 and by May 2009 we held our first registrations. Since our first meetups in May 2009 we have hosted over 234 meetups. This has allowed our members to participate in meetups and local pet events in Edmonton several times a month.
You may have seen us at Pets in the Park. Our members have risen over $20,000.00 in the last three years to support The Edmonton Humane Society. Perhaps a Modern Dog Magazine article, Edmonton Merge, Edmonton Journal and The Edmonton Sun. Local fashion shows and trade shows. Our group has received great support from the Edmonton and area communities.
Why should you join Mighty Mutts? To provide your dog with the opportunity to interact with other dogs the same size in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. We have many opportunities planned for 2011/2012.
This group is not a virtual group but a group which requires our members to participate by paying an outdoor or indoor fee, providing vaccinations records including rabies, distemper & bordetella and signing a waiver.
We have moved indoors for the fall/winter season and are meeting at See Spot Run Doggy Daycare.
We have meetups available on alternating Saturdays and Sundays.
