a) creating and saving shared preferences
b) working with file system
c) persisting the application instance state
6. General Networking overview.
Tim Slogn and I will deliver the above android topics. Tim has been developing mobile application since the earlier days of J2ME based feature phones.
Welcome other experienced android developers come to the next meet up and we can share experience on android development in general.
There is another meetup group (http://ireland.titug.com/) that can let you know how to build native android/ios app using JS/CSS. If you are a web developer, it would be nice to have a look.
I only have 5 laptops installed with latest android SDK and development environment available for this course at the moment. There are few android phones with different screen size and capabilities for testing. But if you have a laptop or android phone, please bring it with the course.
