Hack the Barbican - Game Dev Workshop/Collaboration

Hey guys, I'm going to be running a game dev workshop during Hack the Barbican to showcase a game dev tool I've been working on that allows for the real-time collaborative creation of 3d mobile multiplayer games (http://multiplay.io).

The plan is to have a couple of laptops setup with projectors and mobile devices setup for people to come along and add/edit to the games being made. I'll also be there to show anyone who's interested on how to use the tools to make their own 3d multiplayer games. Kinda like a collaborate drop-in drop-out at anytime hackathon.

I'm also happy for anyone who's made a cool game they'd like to showoff (show to passersby, take cool pics of it being projected on the walls), or join in for their own game dev stack hack to come along and do so.

Going to be there from the 7th-31st August, will confirm the times and more details soon.

    09/08/13 Friday Update
I'm ill at the moment, will try to drop by later today though with the equipment. However the place is still open for co-working and if you have you're own projectors you're more than welcome to fire them up. There's also a nice section behind the Curve entrance (need to go round) with Sofas.

    Re: game dev workshop
I'm here today until 11pm with a projector, trying to find good walls to project off, not the best exposure, but it's still pretty cool.
There's also a stage we can use, for a presentation/demo at the end of the day (I'll confirm the times we can use it).

    Re: the co-working space.
There wifi is free, and there's outlets around. It's all based in the ground floor.

There are installations, talks or performances scheduled at certain times and in specific places around the Barbican. Three distinct spaces are also being created for people to work on projects, plan activities and socialise:

The Lab, on the ground floor, is a space for making things e.g. soldering, wiring, playing with equipment.

The Balcony, overlooking the main ground floor foyer, is a co-working and meeting space with tables.

The Cafe, in the ground floor foyer, is a more informal space.

I have a pregnant wife at home, I could be with her at home but I made myself a fool coming to this place. THERE IS NO EVENT. I am just leaving the place, wasted my time and energy. Very disappointing!
