Welcome! We're so glad you've stopped by to check us out. Here at Modern Meditation of San Diego, we host a monthly mindfulness meditation class every Sunday evening. No on-going commitment necessary (though of course, we'd love if you became a regular!) 

Each class includes a 10-15 minute talk about utilizing mindfulness in daily life, 40 minutes of guided meditation, and 5 minutes of silent meditation.

Our group founder is Bridget Regan, a yogi, writer, entrepreneur and avid meditator who has been practicing for over 10 years and teaching for more than 5 years. She holds various certifications in yoga and meditation, and has been featured in several publications on the topic. Upon moving to San Diego, Bridget was unable to find a secular meditation center in which she could simply sit, without the heavy feeling of exclusivity that sometimes comes along with more traditional meditation practices. She deeply believed that meditation did not need to be mystical - it could simply be a healthy lifestyle habit, as non-intimidating as brushing your teeth. The result - Modern Meditation of San Diego!

These days, Bridget doesn't teach the Sunday classes as often, as other instructors have jumped in. But she still subs every once in awhile, so keep your eye on the calendar for special events!

If you are brand new to meditation (ie, "What's mindfulness?") or if you're a seasoned veteran, we'd love to have you. This is a place to be at whatever point in you are in your practice and in your life.
