MODX Meetup - Project Showcase

MODX is a powerful and versatile tool for building websites with myriad functionality. Much can be achieved without a lick of programming. Additionally, with the ability to write custom PHP code, the sky is the limit on what we can get MODX to do!

This month, our members will showcase MODX projects. It's an opportunity to see MODX in action. Checkout some of the innovative ways the framework is being used by our Denver community!

  • Jack McDaniel will showcase an ecommerce project utilizing PayPal, utilizing template variables and a nice way to handle inventory.
  • Paul Kabotie will feature a membership website utilizing XPDO and the "login" extra.
  • Eli Snyder is lined up to present as well.

We also have a limited number of MODX development accounts available. If you've not used MODX yet and would like to give it a test drive, we can give you access to a freshly installed MODXCloud instance of MODX v2.2.14 (the latest) complete with SSH shell access and PHPMyAdmin access. We can hook you up at the meetup on request and as available.

Meetup is free - food and drink will be provided. Please RSVP. See you there!

MODX Revolution™ is a PHP-based CMS/Framework designed to support web designers and programmers. Elegantly designed and solidly implemented, it separates the frontend and backend management in a way that allows designers and developers to work on different parts side by side without stepping on each other. We have total creative freedom to develop and render websites EXACTLY how we want, both with HTML/CSS/JS design and the backend software functionality.

We come together to discuss, present and/or participate in various aspects of MODX. Rub elbows with other movers and shakers of the Rocky Mountain MODX community! Meet, network, share tips, make connections, collaborate - enjoy yourself! Come one, come all - we look forward to seeing you!
