MoMoTLV July Event: Mobile Commerce and Payments

We're glad to invite you to our July event, and this time tackling one of the hottest topics these days: Mobile Commerce and Payments - How can app developers best integrate commerce and payments solutions in their apps to make extra $$$

We have a special guest from PayPal Paris who will share with us some of the latest stats and trends. In addition we'll hear from 3 Israeli startups about different angles of mobile commerce and payments.

We'll also hear about BattleHack (http://battlehack.org/) - PayPal's hackathon to be held on July 25-26 in Tel Aviv, winners of this hackathon will get an all-paid trip to California and compete with 10 other teams for the grand prize of $100,000 ! During the event today we will enable teams pair-up for the hackathon - so if you're missing teams members come today and meet your partners!

Our PayPal speaker has landed from Paris with great examples of how McDonalds is doing m-commerce and how you can use the various PayPal's SDKs to enable your app.

Also, we added to the agenda a speaker from Sears - one of the largest retailers in the US - they have an R&D center here in Israel developing cool m-commerce stuff - and they will give us the perspective of the big retailer - what are the mobile needs and how they are answered.

We'll also hear a super interesting session from Zooz about applying Maslow's hierarchy to mobile payments and commerce - based on this great article they published on VentureBeat (http://venturebeat.com/2013/05/21/mobile-checkout/)

We also have two up and coming startups: SellInApp - the winner of the Mobile Monetization Summit 2012 (http://mms2012.israelmobilesummit.com/) and Appixia, a member of the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator - both will give us not just the usual startup pitch, but also some valuable market insights on this bookming market.
