Sakura Matsuri @ Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Read the all the details to see how to get in!!

Every year, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has their Sakura Matsuri. There's tons of events and things related to Japanese culture, and the cheery blossoms in bloom are worth seeing.

The Brooklyn go club will have their demonstration tables  set up again in the main area. I'm going to go to help, and if you guys want to come, it's *free* and you don't have to stand in the huuuuge line up front!

All you have to do is go to the entrance at 1000 Washington Ave (Not the immediate entrance by the train station near the Brooklyn Museum, it's up halfway through the park).

There should be some kind of entrance for volunteers. Go inside, and tell them that you're here to help with the Brooklyn Go Club. They should let you in, and all you have to do is find where the go demonstrations are. (The past times I've been there, they're always near the main tent area.

Here's some pictures from 2009:

Some extra info, please make sure you arrive _before_ Noon. Apparently, they stop letting in volunteers around then.
