Group Study at Resobox

Hey everyone!

Vacation was great, but it's time to start having more group study sessions.

This time we're renting space from Resobox (http://resobox.com/), so there will be a playing fee of $5 per person. Guests who don't play don't have to pay. Drinks from the cafe are separate.

I'm tentatively scheduling for Noon until 3pm, we might have to end slightly earlier (or later).

The space is limited, so RSVPs are limited to 15 people, please don't take up a spot unless you intend on coming. (Here's some pictures from last time https://www.meetup.com/mostlygo/photos/9374922/ )

General format:

As usual, I'll be spending most of my time teaching beginners. For people who don't know the rules I'll explain them. If everyone knows the rules, we'll cover topics on basic strategy and tactics on the 9x9 board.

More experienced players are welcome to come and play amongst themselves or to offer help to beginners. Stronger players can help weaker players, etc. General free for all.

Equipment:

I'll be bringing some 9x9 and a 13x13 board. If you have a 19x19 board that you don't mind bringing, please bring it.

PS. Resobox has a Manga workshop starting at about 2pm, they've mentioned that it should be okay for us to share the space with that group (it's supposed to be small in the summer) so don't be surprised if there's something else going on in the room.
