Hungarian Pastry Shop Tuesdays

Every Tuesday evening at the Hungarian Pastry Shop. From 7 to 11 or so we play, drink coffee and tea, eat pastries, and kibitz. And never mind that it says 1 or 2 attending, there are usually 10-15 players from beginner to near pro on any given Tuesday. We are very informal, there is never a fee, just try to buy something from our gracious hosts.

Its a great space, very European, and there are plenty of Columbia and Barnard students studying there in case you want some none go conversation. Just be sure to bring a board to guarantee yourself a game!
