The 5th Annual Pub MINI Meet

Some of us from the PittStop club went to this last year and it was a blast! They've set the date for this coming June and I wanted to get the details out there so people can plan ahead.

We're meeting in the Target parking lot at 7AM. Cranberry Township Route 228 exit off I-79, take 228 EAST 1/2 mile, 2nd light, on the left. Main attraction there: Starbucks and McDs breakfast, and a whole passel o' Minis headed to Cleve-land

This is an all day event in Cleveland, OH and all proceeds from t-shirts & raffle ticket sales benefit Providence House (http://www.provhouse.org/), Ohio's first licensed crisis nursery, offers emergency shelter to children newborn through five years old actively living in crisis. Since 1981, Providence House has provided quality, center-based, family focused residential care to over 5,500 infants and children in crisis.

The PUB is a beautiful, British-styled bar & restaurant that has awesome food and drinks discounted for us motorers (50% off the best fish'n'chips in the colonies). Its kilted staff looks forward to our invasion all year long and loves this show!

Over the past 4 years, we have had 600+ Minis from from 18 states and Canada! Come be a part of a great day for a great cause - mark your calendars for Saturday June 18th, 2011!

Fun stuff planned for Pub 5 includes:

NEW: The day will start off with a scavenger hunt driving event. Cruise your Mini or MINI about town for cash and prizes (actually just prizes and fame). The Liverpool Lads tribute band will return to play everyone's favorite Beatles tunes. They brought the house down last year and we are honored to have them back! NEW: Dress up like your favorite British celebrity (real or fictional) for our costume/look-alike contest. Who will you be? James Bond? The Queen? Austin Powers? Twiggy? Pete Townshend?? Ozzy? NEW: Jumpin' Jack Flash, a tribute to the Rolling Stones will rock the Pub into the evening. Custom T-Shirts for Pub 2011 "Chinese" raffle with over $2000 in great prizes 50/50 raffles several times during the day Bring your unwanted MINI items to sell! (We ask that 20% of sales goes to Providence House)
