Update Friday March 8 5:00 p.m.

Report from Reveille Peak Ranch is that they only received a misting during the day so we are "Go!" for tomorrow's ride. Increased rain chances for the afternoon has, however, caused Charlie to cancel the organized camping as sleeping on damp ground is no fun. If a big downpour develops over night we will do a re-evaluate in the morning hours but it looks like we will be good to ride until afternoon. So come out, ride and lunch with us!

Update: I know everyone is wondering about tomorrow's event. Charlie Riou is hosting and he is watching the weather and forecast. He will let me know around 5 pm today (Friday) and I will post up whether or not it is a go. Cross your fingers!

The first day of spring isn't officially until March 20 but we are betting on early flowers and hoping for clear, sunny skies. Since we are planning a camp-out, clear skies will give those who spend the night an excellent opportunity to view Spica, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo, the moon and several planets.

You do not have to be an ARR member to participate but we'd love to have you join. ARR Members in good standing will be reimbursed the day fee and if you are unsure about your membership status, please email arrwebsite@gmail.com and we will check and let you know.

We will meet up near the big pavilion. As always, we will be breaking into groups based on skill level and then we'll hit the trail with the "No Drop" policy in effect so no one gets left behind. All participants must sign a waiver and properly wear a helmet when on a bicycle. We will have clipboards with the ARR waiver onsite but if to save time and confusion you can print out the club waiver and/or the RPR and impress everyone with your preparedness.

ARR will be hosting a post-ride lunch and everyone is encouraged to bring something to share (fruit, chips, sweets, etc.) Please use the RSVP feature on the MeetUp or Facebook Groups, the Sign Up tab on the website Event or email us to let us know you'll be riding. It helps us plan for food and drinks!!

If enough people are interested in camping, we'll plan a campsite potluck so holler if you are in for the slumber party.

Not familiar with the trails? Check out these videos taken at RPR for a taste of the terrain (Thanks to Cory Kunkel for allowing us to use his videos)
