Flat Creek Crossing Ranch Jingle Bell Ride
Details
ARR's weekend rides continue to be the most accurate predictor of rain in Central Texas. Those of us at ARR Central led by our Ride Coordinator Tony will diligently monitor the chances for rain overnight and post up a 7am go/no go call for the ride depending on overnight rainfall and the chance of rain at FCC in the morning.
Pack up your riding gear and stay tuned...
Flat Creek Crossing Ranch is open again on Saturday Dec 21 for mountain bikers!
Gates open 9:00am - 12:00pm, ride until 2:30pm
Gate fee is $10, proceeds benefit Child Inc.
Bring your own beer & meat (that would be "BYOB&M" I guess?) for an after ride social gathering of friends, our very own Ride Coordinator Tony will have his famous grills fired up and ready for you to cook.
You can show up any time between 9 & 12 to ride alone or with your own group, but if you want to join me (Lloyd) I'll be wheels down at 10am for one casual paced lap. Look for the narcissist orange Santa Cruz Tallboy bike.
Time: one lap will be ~8 miles & 2 hours.
Arrive early enough to prepare yourself and your bike, kickstands up @ 10:00am.
Pace: Casual - we will maintain a reasonable rolling rate and will stop to regroup regularly around trail intersections and technical features. If enough people of varying skills show up we will split into groups to better match abilities.
Skill Level: the trail is intermediate - flowy trail mixed with technical features you can walk if you are not confident riding them.
Self Drop: you can drop out of the group at any time if you know the trails and how to get back to the trail head, otherwise we will get you back.
If you have any questions post them in the comment box below or you can send me an email via Meetup: just click my name on the right side of this page, click “Send an email” under my name on the page that opens.
