ARR/RLAG Club Ride @ Flat Rock Ranch

Austin Ridge Rider & Ride Like A Girl Monthly Club Ride at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, TX

All mountain bikers are welcome, riders will break into groups based on skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and pace (fast, casual, slow). This is a No Drop ride so no one gets left behind or lost, we will get you back to the trail head for the after party;)

Remember to bring your helmet, plenty of water, and cash for the park entry fee. Everyone is also invited to bring a dish to share after the ride: i.e. cookies, chips, dips, salads, fruit, drinks, etc.

Also for this ride Flat Rock Ranch is offering riding and camping from Friday through Sunday for a flat fee of $15/person.

Directions from Austin:

Take US 290 West from Austin to Fredericksburg. At Fredericksburg take US 87 South (left turn). Continue 26 miles to Comfort. 1/2 mile South of the intersection of IH 10 and US 87 go East (left) at the stop light at Ranch to Market 473. Go one mile to Flat Rock Creek Road and turn North (left). The pavement ends four miles later at the gate to Flat Rock Ranch. Go through the gate, close the gate and park near the only cedar pole shed on the left. Please close any gate you open on the property. This ranch does have live stock, which you will rarely see.

You do NOT have to be an ARR member to attend the club ride but we do ask that you sign a waiver and properly wear a helmet when riding. We will encourage you to join though, it’s only $20/year that goes toward trail development and mountain bike evangelism in and around Austin.
