Muck About Loanheads Local Trails

Quite fancy just mucking about on the local trails around Loanhead with a bunch of you guys. Such as the old shale quarry, the old shunting yard or the numerous paths around the area. Never straying more than 2-3 miles from Loanhead centre it'll be as long or as short as the group wants. Just a chance to hone our mtb skills, have a laugh etc.

I can flesh out an actual loop if people would prefer more structure but intend this to be more for the joy of mtb'ing rather than for the joy of touring in the countryside off road.

Not a meet for those that want an expedition to a set destination or a specific distance or duration.

Difficulty will be set by you though little is above blue grade. There is always mud and tree roots. There is sometimes Nettles !!!!

Oh, and Pub visit in Lasswade, Poltonhall or Loanhead can be incorporated for those that like a refresher and I'll make sure we have a picnic lunch stop at some point as I now know you want/need this ;-)
