The Obelisk is a rarely visited granite dome in the middle of nowhere... specifically, the far western corner of Kings Canyon National Park. This remote peak is known to present beautiful climbing on high quality granite with seas of knobs and chicken-heads. There are several routes ranging from a few to several pitches, at grades from 5.6 to 5.9 and beyond. Read more
