Game Day at Village Games (Sat - Feb 9th - MORNING)

This Month: #23: Tide of Morning & maybe #4-01: Rise of the Goblin Guild

If we get 2 tables, table 2 will be Rise of the Goblin Guild, please sign up with that in mind.

#23: Tide of Morning

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 5th level characters (Tiers: 1–2 and 4–5).

Venture-Captain Dennel Hamshanks sends you to convince an Andoren druid named Hemzel to allow the Pathfinder Society to study his recently discovered lorestone, a minor magical item that unlocks some of the mysteries of the ancient Andoren druid circles. When you arrive and find Hemzel murdered and the lorestone missing, you must race against time to recover the lorestone and stop Hemzel's murderers from using it against the druids of Andoran.

#4-01: Rise of the Goblin Guild

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

When a monster is discovered on the grounds of the Pathfinder Lodge at Heidmarch Manor in Magnimar, an investigation into its appearance leads the PCs deep under the City of Monuments—and face to face with a burgeoning thieves’ guild.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled monthly Game Day scheduled for Village Games in Anoka, Minnesota scheduled for the second Saturday of the month. The game will start promptly at 11:00 AM immediately after the store opens and will last until dinner break at 5:00 PM and is limited to six seats. Registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (further information regarding registration can be found below).

This event does have an associated entry fee of $3.00 which includes entry to event and 3 copper tokens (a $3 value).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

Another great game day at Village Games. With the quality of players and GMs, the excellent accommodations and the fact that one can play two scenarios back-to-back, I don't know why this game day isn't more popular. Perhaps it's the perception that Village Games is "out in the boonies"? I believe that to be a misconception. I know I've made the drive after a Saturday session at Tower Games to the evening session at Village Games in about half an hour. I've also made the drive from Macalester College in St. Paul to Village Games in that same amount of time. It's interstate and highway pretty much all the way there.

Had a lot of fun... now I am thinking that my next character may have to be modeled on Captain Courageous... Andy, you know how and what I mean ;) Just feel "inspired" by a certain barbarian.

Gah! Brain is not working... Mark is playing a Dwarf monk, not a cleric.

So, based on time, I have to probably change my preference for scenario - since I need to be in Burnsville by 6:00 (via Rogers), we should probably Tide of Morning.
