Game Day at Your Mom's Basement (Sat., March 2nd)

This Week:

#4-11 The Disappeared:

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

A powerful ally of the Pathfinder Society has disappeared, and no one but the Pathfinders even remembers that she ever existed. Can the PCs discover the fate of their missing associate, or will all memory of her be erased completely from history?

Written by Jonathan H. Keith.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Your Mom's Basement is hosted by Ryan Blomquist (Venture-Captain).

I had a lot of fun and was happy that unlike my first game my involvement in this scenario ended up being both helpful and pivotal to the success of my party. Every single one of our party members had an action that if they had not taken would have resulted in a failure of the module and we ended up making it with seconds to spare. Good thing I thought to steal a slave disguise!

the disappeared is an entirely different type of adventure and I enjoyed it entirely!

Thanks to Zach K. for stepping up to GM this event. Jack; if you're able to, we will open up a third table and if necessary I can bow out and spectate this week should we not have enough players for three tables.

Got a chuckle this morning... the GMs are Jack and Zach... there won't be any confusion there, will there?

    Hey everyone,

This week we're running a replay of a popular Con of the North scenario, 4-11 The Disappeared. I know there are quite a few players who had the chance to play this event at Con of the North. Based on past attendance, I expect two tables worth of attendees at Your Mom's Basement most weeks now and it is very likely that trend will continue.

If you had the chance to play The Disappeared at Con of the North, I'd like to ask you to consider GMing it this week. Pathfinder Society is a community and it is only as fun as the members who are willing to support it. By DMing, you are sharing all of the fun times you had as a player with other members of the Pathfinder Society community. Its a great way to give back while you help to strengthen and grow Pathfinder Society and roleplaying in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area. Give it some thought, and if you have any questions you can reply here or shoot me an email at [masked]

    Good Gaming,
    Ryan B.

OK, I made sure to check my calendar and I am _sure_ that I am clear to GM this weekend. I'd be happy to run this one. Maybe open up a second table if Jack is also available?

Ok, I do have "tentative approval" (read she doesn't currently have any plans for me). Would running a second table be feasible, and if so, which scenario would we run? And, a quick second question/clarification... I assume that if you GM a scenario (getting a GM encounter sheet for it), you are not eligible to play it afterwards (getting a player encounter sheet as well)? My assumption is that you'd have to first play as a player, and then you can get the GM credit. Please correct me if I am wrong (at least this is what intuitively makes sense).
