Loved 3.5, hated 4.0, loved pathfinder and agree with first poster "3.5 Thrives!"
red box basic D&D back in 1979
Tons. More charters than i can count and they have always been multi-class hybrids or other "strange" builds. Really had a ton of fun with Draconic builds from Draginomicon, races of the dragon and dragon magic. Tend to like "off" combat builds combined with some magic use. This includes paladins, war clerics, dragon disciples, combat alchemist, spell swords, rage prophets and the like. Current favorite is a vivisectionist/beast morph alchemist Ulfin named Jack Yukon.
Long time Gamer. No preference on characters other than they tend somewhat high concept and looking at odd "builds".
Been to 8 events so far and all have been exceptional.
