We are pleased to announce that the next MTL + ECOMMERCE will be held on January 22nd at the Auberge Saint-Gabriel. [Note that the event location has changed]. Starting in 2014, we will also start charging $10 per event to help us keep this event alive and continue to bring you top notch content.
The theme of our next event will be: “Bitcoins”. For this special edition, we will have 4 presentations by 3 experts on the topic.
Our first guest speaker, Alexandre Bourget, the CEO of BitCredits.io, will give an introduction to Bitcoins and later introduce his company BitCredits.io, a Bitcoin payment processor allowing online stores to accept Bitcoins.
Our second speaker, Daniel Langelin, Director of Communications at the Bitcoin Embassy, will give a talk on Bitcoins and the role of the Bitcoin Embassy.
Our third speaker, Eric Spano, founder of Bylls.com, will give a presentation on Bitcoin taxes and regulations”.

Alexandre Bourget is Co-Founder & CTO of BitCredits Inc., a Bitcoin payments processor based in Montreal. He is a thought leader and prominent speaker in the Python community and a proponent of free software. He fell in love with Bitcoin while reading page 7 of the original whitepaper. Alexandre is not Satoshi Nakamoto.

Eric holds a Bachelor's in Commerce and has over a year of experience as a public accountant with Ernst & Young LLP. He has been actively involved in Canada's Bitcoin community, serving as the Treasurer of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada as well as the Director of Finance for the Bitcoin Embassy. In addition to overseeing the financial activity of these organizations, Eric is also the Founder & CEO of Bylls - a web-based service that enables users to pay their everyday bills using Bitcoin.
