Announcing a new Meetup for Tokyo Museum Meetup Group!
What: Museum Hopping 1: Ukiyo-e
When: October 12,[masked]:00 PM
Where: Meet either at "Ota memorial Museum of Art" or "The Edo-Tokyo Museum"
Meetup Description: Museum Hopping 1: Ukiyo-e
I used to live in New York, and one of my favorite activities there was museum/gallery hopping. Getting together with like-minded friends, I hit museums and/or galleries in the afternoon. For example, in one crazy afternoon, my friend and I visited 10 to 15 art galleries and a museum. New York is a big city, but places are relatively concentrated, so we could manage to make such an acrobatic move in one afternoon. In Tokyo in a meantime, places are spread apart, so going to a couple of museums in one afternoon can be difficult, unless you are in Ueno or Roppongi. Anyways, museum hopping can be fun, and I would like to plan a museum hopping to see Ukiyo-e (Japanese Woodcuts).

If you choose to check out just one of the shows above, you can either leave after the first museum or join from the second one. However, if you do so, please let me know which museum you are interested in checking out.
Please come to the museum on time. Note that you will end up wasting other participants time if you are late.
Chat session after the show
After the first museum, we will take a brief coffee break, and after the second museum, we will have a chat session over coffee or some drinks.
Also, I would like to go to Tsukishima to have Monja Yaki after this museum hopping. If you have time and are interested in trying this Tokyo Shitamachi (Downtown) soul food, please join me for the dinner.
