I'd seen it years ago but this revisit was great; a good Meetup place.
Fine exhibits including the skinny cat mummy and the mystical art gallery off the gift shop.

I had a great time... meeting other fun people who want to explore our world's culture is a great bonus. It's so much more fun than going (or not) by yourself. Thanks Joanne! :0)

Great little gem of a museum, tucked away in San Jose.
    Definitely do the Tomb Tour!

Looks like we're going to have a pretty big group, as folks from another Meetup are attending also.
Please keep your RSVP current, so we aren't waiting for someone who won't be coming.
I'll email more details later this week.
    Thanks!

It's a beautiful place. I didn't get to see the planetarium though. Will we be able to see that also?

I love this San Jose "hidden gem" - have enjoyed many walks around the beautiful grounds but it's been several years since I've been inside! I'll never forget the first time I drove past the museum about 25 years ago. Having never heard of it before that, it totally freaked me out. Right in the middle of the beautiful Rose Garden neighborhood, all of the sudden, these big Egyptian type buildings... CraZy! I had to check it out!
