#OptOutside - Celebration and Blazing Party

Details

In October of this year, the Buckeye Trail Crew and the Muskingum Masters of Mayhem collaborated to take .6 of a mile of the Buckeye Trail off of a dangerous part of US Rt. 22 west of the Harrison Rest Area near Piedmont Lake in Harrison County. The process to make this happen began well over a year ago and involved multiple discussions with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District and District 11 of the Ohio Department of Transportation. The heavy work is done and it's time to blaze the new part and commemorate it with a celebration. Hot dogs will be provided and bring a covered dish or dessert if you want to. If you have any questions or ideas, don't hesitate to let us know.
