November is coming to a close and that means the traditional celebration of giving thanks. With everything that has occurred this past year we all have a lot to be thankful for. If you survived this past storm relatively well, be thankful for what you didn't loose. If you have loved ones in the military that are sleeping soundly this holiday, be thankful to have them. Likewise for family members who are ill or elderly. Be thankful you can spend another holiday with them.
As you sit down with your family and friends to enjoy the meal tomorrow, be thankful you can make the excuse to skip your diet (just this time). Be thankful there's a comfy couch to pass out on later too. But please don't forget there are others out there that aren't as fortunate. Please pass on your good fortune when the opportunity presents itself. When you pay it forward someone will be thankful for your kindness.
From Diane and I, have a safe and wonderful Thanks Giving.
