MSK - a few comments and details re the bus trip on Sat.

Hope you are all getting excited about the trip on Saturday!  Since this is not one of our smaller, more intimate, everyone-gets-personally-introduced events, we wanted to do a little pre-event introduction and make some suggestions for making everyone feel welcome.  First, we noticed that there are several people who are attending an MSK event for the first or second time, so a big welcome to our “newbies” - Dawne, LaToya, Roseanne, Angelica, Gigi (and husband), Helen, Nola, Christina Michelle (and guest).  All of you oldtimers (err.......let’s say “long”timers) and regulars, please help us make sure they all get introduced around, and you newbies, please introduce yourselves to everyone as well.  We’re not all just jumping on the Greyhound, we’re going on a trip “together,” so feel free to overdo the “meet and greet” thing.  There will be some moving around on the bus, dancing, passing out prizes, getting drinks, passing food, etc., so there will be opportunities to interact and introduce yourselves, so please do so as often as possible.  And to everyone who is bringing a guest, your guests are part of the MSK family too, and we hope to meet them and get to know them as well.  We are bringing name tags, we’d like it if everyone would wear one with their first name on it  (just on the bus trip, not in the casino of course ), so that as we’re talking and interacting with each other we can be reminded of names.

People tend to wander to different gambling areas, or ride back and forth on the shuttles or whatever, so if you meet some people you want to get together with throughout the day, one suggestion is to make a plan to meet at the buffet for dinner at a specific time, or meet at a certain time to take the bus to the outlet mall, etc., so if people go off in different directions you can regroup later.

Any questions or suggestions, let us know.  Otherwise, let’s get ready to eat, drink, and be merry!  (And win those jackpots of course - or find some bargains at the outlet mall and have something to show for our money).
