Come celebrate the life and spirit of our dear sweet Rob!

Welcome NALD dancers, friends and fans of Rob Kish.

Please save Sunday February 22nd for a very special NALD get-together, a celebration of the life and spirit of our dear sweet own NALDMASTER, Rob (Kish).

It was Rob who had the dream of setting up this group so that those who loved dancing, who wanted to learn how to dance or who just wanted to socialize with some wonderful people, could come together in a friendly informal setting and learn how to salsa, bachata, merengue and be introduced to ballroom, latin, and other forms of dance. Rob was passionate about helping people learn to dance and to promoting any and all dancers and dance groups in the area (especially through listing their events on our site calendar*). Teachers and students from any discipline and any level were invited and welcome to join us at our twice-monthly night get togethers at Jaymor's dance studio in Aurora where we rented space. By setting up this group and then helping set up a salsa night at a local restaurant/bar, Rob was responsible for bringing so many more people into his beloved world of dance, for helping dance teachers and hosts promote their events, and for bringing so many people together to meet and just enjoy themselves.

Unfortunately, as you know we lost our dear sweet Rob much much too early this last December. His friends would like to dedicate this evening in honouring him and celebrating his joyful spirit by having a special get-together on Sunday, February 22nd at Jaymor's from 7-10 pm. It's an opportunity for all his friends and fans to come together to give each other some hugs, celebrate the gift of Rob in our lives, share in some coffee and treats, and honour him by doing what he loved so much, dancing and enjoying the night away.

Further details will be added to the site when available; in the meantime, please save the date and plan on being there on Sunday February 22nd at Jaymor's in Aurora, 7-10pm.

There will be no usual NALD entrance fee for this evening. Voluntary contributions can be made that evening if desired towards a lasting memorial/charitable contribution in Rob's name.
