In this presentation, Reed will discuss various ways learning F# has forced him to rethink the architecture and structure of code written in other languages. He will demonstrate how some of the core language design decisions from F# have influenced how he thinks and writes not only F# code, but also C#, C++, and even JavaScript. See how learning and practicing some basic F# can help you rethink API design, formatting and style decisions, method design, visual honesty in your code, ease of refactoring, and more. No previous F# experience is necessary, as the concepts will be placed in the context of programming in general.
