A Very Special Edgar Evins Wildflower Walk

Join State Naturalist Randy Hedgepath for a wildflower walk at Edgar Evins State Park on Friday the 11th of April at 1 PM.

An unusual weekday event, this is a 2 to 4 mile interpretive walk to see and learn about the spring wildflowers. The walk will be filmed by the "TN Wild Side" crew to teach about wildflowers on TV. The Highland Rim Loop Trail and possibly the Millenium Trail will be the venue. The wildflowers here are abundant and diverse. The next day is a spring festival at the park, so this could be part of an overnight trip. Please, no dogs on this outing.

Meet at the Visitor Center just inside the park and to the right.
