Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite! October Meetup

If you've watched the news lately, you've heard about the bed bug outbreaks in many of the big cities. But just why are these little insects causing such an uproar? What does it mean to get bed bugs? How are they spreading so fast? Why now? Are you starting to scratch just thinking about it? Dr. Steve Murphree, biologist/entomologist with Belmont University, will join us to discuss the myths and facts about bed bugs and what the recent outbreaks mean. Hope you can make it!

I enjoyed the presentation. My only criticism is that Dr. Murphree, while being a medical entomologist, is not a specialist in bed bugs as I thought before the meeting. Still, he had good information to offer about bed bugs and related topics.
