Hello everyone and I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Spring season!

I know everyone is very, very busy, but please take a few moments to read the four items below, as they all concern you as a member of this group.

1. Many of you may not know, but we have a Wine Enthusiast member who is also a soldier. Paul recently shipped back to Iraq (a few months ago). We miss him and we want him home safe, to sip wine and enjoy our fun times. If you would like to send a message of encouragement to Paul, you can find him under our Member link on the left menu of the main page for the group. Once you click on "Members" you can type "Paul" in the search bar, and he's the one with the military uniform picture. (He's a very handsome latino guy, if I may say so myself, so you can't miss him.) Thanks for what you do for this country Paul! We miss you and can't wait to see you again, with LOVE, from your friends in the Wine Enthusiast group.

2. The last meetup was huge success!!! Wine, Cheese & Chocolate was a complete blast. Over 45 people attended, bringing almost 50 bottles of wine, 30 different types of cheese, and over 10 different kinds of chocolate! We had a fantastic time, there were no issues with parking and the night was full of laughs and fun....including the smoke alarm going off, and someone setting their hair on fire. (The two incidences were not related believe it or not.) The evening went on to after 2:00am. Thanks to everyone who attended and made that night full of friends, wine, and lots and lots of food!!!!

3. Our next meetup has been upgraded so get your spot now!!! Our trip to Sumner Crest Winery & Vineyards on May 30th is now an official road trip! We will be chartering the same party bus as last year's road trip, and we will even have the same awesome driver...yay Albert! Please go our website now and read the updated details for this event. The cost will only be $30.50 per person and that includes everything! **Unfortunately, no one is permitted to drive themselves or meet us there. This meeting starts and ends on the bus.** GO RSVP NOW & MAKE YOUR PAYMENT RIGHT AWAY B/C THERE ARE ONLY 16 SPOTS LEFT!

4. We are still on track for our 2 Year/Over 350 Member Milestone Celebration Event!!! I am still aiming for the end of June, (20th or 27th). Planning is underway so start saving because you don't want to miss this. (I know money is tight for most folks, but you have two months to save about 50 bucks so please give a try.) Last year, our celebration brought over 75 people and I'd like to double that # this year and make it a big success with at least 150 of our 350 members attending. Start saving your spare cash and invite your friends! I'm working on an event hall, caterer, DJ, guest speakers, etc. I'm trying to do all of this for you guys and keep the inclusive cost around $49. So mark your calendars and do everything to attend. IF YOU ONLY GO TO ONE WINE ENTHUSIAST EVENT ALL YEAR...THIS IS THE ONE YOU MUST ATTEND!

Thanks for reading this email,
Call with any questions,
Can't wait until May & June for two our best-planned wine meetups ever!
