Oragizations, none that I can think of at the moment. People .....my father and mother. They are the only people who did not laugh at my idea of one day building cob buildings for a living.
I started a small company in 2007. I would like to make myself and my equipment available to anyone on this site who is working on cob, straw-bale, or other natural buildings. I have a small track excavator a bobcat and Ideas! I also keep bees and build a few different types of beehives and sell them. I have been growing garlic for a few years and currently have 6 different types that I plan to start selling starting in July 2014.
Living in a sculpture (Cob - Bale hybrid perhaps). Playing the steel drum. Yodling, Changing attitudes of building codes to include shelter in it's most elegant form.
That anyone can do it. That in today's economy we can get the unemployed to build works of art they can live in with little to no mortgage. I like clay, I like the outdoors.
All I can. I also want to teach everything I learn.
Looking to expand, and network in green building. I have attended multiple cob workshops and have fallen in love with the concept. I enjoy the outdoors, home cooked food, organic shapes, gardening, fishing, hunting, foraging, you get the idea!
This is where IT is at. Fun people with great ideas and skills. This group has got it go'n on!!! Mud + People = Good Times.
