Transiting Saturn takes about 29 1/2 years to transit the 360 degrees of a chart to a Saturn return. The secondary progressed Moon also takes about 29 1/2 years to transit the 360 degrees of a chart from progressed New Moon to progressed New Moon. Because both cycles are of similar length, the two will at times get locked into an aspect dance that will last for several years. When that aspect is a conjunction, square or opposition, a person may be in for a lengthy period of challenges.
We will look into this dance more closely and how these extended cycles may manifest. We will show how you can determine if you were in one of these cycles in the past, are in one now, or will be in one in the future. Time permitting, we will also look at the charts of anyone in attendance who is interested to see what, if any, dance cycle they may be.
BIO: Jim Schultz is an ISAR Certified Astrological Professional and also a member of NCGR, AFA and OPA. He is one of the current co-organizers of the Santa Monica Astrology Meetup Group with over 240 members. He previously spoke at NCGR on the 12th house. He is also a Dowser and a Voyager Tarot consultant.
Everyone is invited to bring their progressed charts, as this is promising to be a very informative meeting.
Special Note from Angel Thompson: Angel is looking for volunteers to help her staff a booth at UAC. If you're going to UAC and are interested in helping Angel, please contact her directly at venangel@aol.com or 310-779-6878.
