The content of this group is available only to members.

This group aims to form a network to enable home-owners and tenants in the area to get to know their neighbours.

The idea is to organise opportunities for neighbours to meet one another socially. For the time being the ambition is simply to arrange a monthly drop-in evening at the local pub. But in time we hope to organise a programme of social, family-friendly events in the neighbourhood. Residents in the neighbourhood will be free to take part in as much or as little as they wish.



The objective of the group is purely social and non commercial. the aim is to offer a forum to create a more connected neighbourhood without actually living in each others pockets.

Naturally the group aims to support the work of neighbourhood and residents' associations, neighbourhood watch etc and hopes to provide a platform which brings these separate groups together. However it does not seek to focus on the matters like estate management and crime prevention which they already cover.

Our aim is simply to give residents in the area opportunities to get to know their neighbours a little better and in doing so create a neighbourhood network.
