NetTuesday - help decide what activities we plan

Dear Net2 Members

At the April NetTuesday meeting, we brainstormed a list of activities/presentations that we'd like to see happen at future NetTuesday meetings. We'd like further guidance from you to get a sense of what the group's overall priorities and interests are, by voting on each of those activities. With your input, the co-organizers of the NetTuesday meetings will try to plan activities & presentations that the most people/organizations say they can benefit from.

Please help us by briefly ranking the activities below in the order that you prefer them. For your top preference, write #1 - & then the name of the activity, & so on down the list of your preferences. If you are not interested in a particular activity idea below, do not include it in your list.

-Branding/Marketing 101 for Non-Profits

-Open Source Solutions

-Calendars: existing online calendar resources & how to integrate them

-Investing in Tech at NPOs: how to convince your supervisors to invest in technology at your organization

-Speedgeeking: an activity where we have multiple, short web demos of lots of different web tools that can benefit your organization

-Online Organizing: Best practices

-Pimp my non-profit: 1 NPO gets advice from everyone in the group about ways to further their work with technology

-Webraising: we create a website for an NPO that doesn't have one using open source software

-Top Tens: we assemble various "top ten" lists of resources/answers/techniques people can use for an issue, etc for example: top ten sites to record audio with, & go through the lists together

Please email your list of preferences to me at: [address removed]

If you can please email me your preferences in the next few days, it will be very helpful so that we have time to prepare an activity for the next NetTuesday meeting on May 13th.

Thank you & see you soon,

Aaron With
