The short film “Choosing Prevention” explores the importance of female condoms in HIV/AIDS prevention in Malawi, Africa. The film has been screened by key policymakers in Washington and is being used by the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) a non-profit organization in Washington, DC. In addition, Choosing Prevention was recently featured on Voice of America’s program In Focus, which broadcasts to TV affiliate news stations throughout Africa. Currently the film is in DVD reproduction and will be distributed to government, UN and NGO leaders around the world. The video will also be a key feature at the Universal Access to Female Condoms (UAFC) conference in the Netherlands this month.

She has self-produced documentary projects focusing on elder neglect, premature births, U.S. torture policy, Native American human rights and refugee resettlement.
