Dec. 18: NetSquared DC Happy Hour - Share Gifts of Knowledge

"A gift that cannot be given away ceases to be a gift. The spirit of a gift is kept alive by its constant donation." -Lews Hyde, The Gift

Netsquared Holiday Happy Hour

It's "everyones favorite time of the year," so goes the Christmas carol. It's also the giving season and seems it like I'm getting a fundraising email from everyone except Obama.

City Paper says Give it up DC and so in the spirit of Giving Tuesday we invite you to a unique happy hour, where you can share gifts of knowledge, aha moments, and challenges you faced in 2012.

Netsquared Holiday Happy Hour

Tuesday, December 18

6-8 pm
Local 16, 1602 U St. NW

With all the technology advances made this year in mobile, on and offline organizing, fundraising and social enterprise, etc, much of it spurred by the presidential election, what were your biggest breakthroughs

We want to hear about those synopses of clarity when the technology worked at the right time in the right place for the right reasons. Or not. We invite you to share gifts of knowledge and cocktails with your colleagues in the Netsquared community

Can't make it?  We invite you to share the "gifts of knowledge" aha moments online.

NetSquared DC is a vibrant local community thriving at the intersection of social change and technology. We’re part of a global NetSquared movement that focuses on the exponential impact we can have when we combine our hunger for change with powerful new technologies.

We’re proud to be one of the largest and longest-running NetSquared groups around, and thank our amazing members who come out in force each month to share what they’ve learned and get to know each other better.

You can make sure you’re the first to hear about upcoming events by joining our Meetup. We usually meet at 7pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the Affinity Lab on U Street NW, DC’s greatest entrepreneurial launch space.

A full archive of our past events is available here on our Meetup page at http://www.meetup.com/net2dc.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
