Known as the "granddaddy of the startup and tech community," Net2NO is a meetup group founded in 2008 to connect people in the tech, social media, entrepreneurial, and non-profit worlds. If you like smart people, drinking, and enjoy being inspired by the positive energy of likeminded people, Net2NO meetups are for you. We're simply a Clearinghouse of Awesome, and believe that when you get awesome people in a room together, awesomeness ensues. Net2NO meetups are free, open to the public, and people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of tech-savviness are welcome to join. Below you'll find an overview of what to expect at a Net2NO gathering.

We meet the first Tuesday of every month at Le Chat Noir on St. Charles Ave. There are sometimes free drinks at the bar, occasionally there's food, and there is always a group of super smart, interesting people to hang out with, plus a presentation about something innovative going on in New Orleans. Drinking + Learning + Meeting Great People. What more could you possibly need? How about three hours to soak up all the awesomeness? Done.

Here's the basic schedule of a Net2NO meetup:

6:00 - 7:00 - Check in (i.e. make yourself a nametag), cocktails, networking.

7:00 - 8:00 - This is the program part of the meetup. Grab a drink, get settled, and hear the evening's presentation. The topics and speakers vary, but the time frame is always the same.

8:00 - 9:00 - More casual networking (and of course drinking).
