Bring your friends, your kids, your dog, your “other person”. It's free, and everyone is welcome. The more the merrier! However, we need to know how many people will be there in order to make sure we have enough food (and, more importantly, enough beer).

If you can RSVP for yourself and guests by the afternoon of Tuesday, May 31st, we promise to throw a kickass party! Directions to the Peristyle:
- Enter the park at City Park Avenue entrance across from Ralph’s on the Park (Anseman Avenue)
- Take the first right onto Dreyfous Drive.
- It’s the very large structure on the right with the columns We are just across from the Great Lawn and next to the playground – so feel free to bring items such as frisbees, footballs or whatever you want to entertain yourselves.

This was a really good time, thanks so much to the sponsors who all worked so hard as well as digging in their pockets for funds. It was a special day, a blend of touching base with folks we know and meeting new friends too. There is no shortage of events and festivals here where one can pass a time and fill their tummy, but this was the only place to meet this crowd while everyone was laid back and enjoying the sun.

This was my first meet up event, and I thought it was a really good and fun event. I met old friends and made new connections, enjoyed good food and cold beverages, and when it was time to leave, my 7-year-old son didn't want too because he was having so much fun playing with the other children there. For an annual social mixer, despite the 100 degree heat, I give this one a thumbs up and look forward to returning next year. Now I need to make it to one of the monthly Tuesday evening events!

Wasn't as hot as I thought it would be. Checking the wind speed forecast for the day and the current wind speed (I think it was like 8 mph) proved correct, IMO, for a cooler and more weather temperature bearable BBQ + Boil than expected. Oh, and I forgot. Many thanks to the sponsors and all the those who helped put it together!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
