Connecting Our Future- Exploring PDX's Broadband Strategic Plan

Connecting Our Future- Exploring PDX's Broadband Strategic Plan

Are you taking for granted the underlying infrastructure that allows you to do the cool stuff you do online? Do you think that ubiquitous, affordable, robust broadband will just happen? What role should the City (and citizen you) play in ensuring broadband communications infrastructure to promote openness and improve accessibility and responsiveness of government to citizens?  To learn these answers and more, join the PDX Tech4Good community for a brief presentation by Mary Beth Henry of the Cable Communications and Franchise Office to discuss PDX's Broadband Strategic Plan, "Connecting Our Future." Connecting Our Future is a vision for Portland that recognizes the social, economic and political importance of Broadband in our livability, prosperity, sustainability and equity goals.
