We invite you and your friends to attend this happy community social and business networking event to bridge cultural, digital and other divides! Let's come together to support Mayor Vincent Gray's vision for Washington D..C. and help to build One City!
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly networking events provide opportunities to develop more community allies and to connect with others interested in similar topics. Express your interest to the co-organizers and followup.
WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30PM on the third Sundays of each month.
LOCATION: At the Burma Restaurant, 740 6th St. NW 2nd floor, Wash. DC 20001
DIRECTIONS: One block from Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station (red, yellow, green lines), follow signs to exit at 7th and H Street, Chinatown exit. When you exit at 7th and H, walk to 6th St. and turn right, it is a few doors down, look for glass door, Burma canope, walk up to second floor restaurant. Same time and place every 3rd Sundays of the month.
Let's build a friendlier and happier community together with other members of the Archway Network and Allies Network! Enjoy soda or food (self-pay) with your neighbors, business owners, investors, professionals, community builders, women allies, nonprofit allies, housing advocates, spiritual/enlightenment allies, GW alumni, Asian Americans and other members of the Archway Network, Allies Network, Allies Building Community and Friendship Archway Alliance at the Burma Restaurant, 740 6th St. NW 2nd floor, Wash. DC 20001, one block from Metrorail station, red line, Chinatown exit.
There will be networking conversations over lunch to start, followed by a round of self introductions to the group, followed by more networking after lunch. You can sit at one or many tables: enjoy lunch with those interested in better health, more joy, friendship, collaboration, professional development, prosperity and other topics. Exchange ideas on how people can be truly helpful to each other. Appreciate each other. Learn about new projects!
SAVE your 3rd Sundays in 2012 at the Burma Restaurant for networking with new contacts face to face. Followup small group meetings on the 4th Sunday at Litestars Restaurant, 2101 L St. NW, DC 20037 (Less than 2 blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro, blue line)

This is a good opportunity to make new contacts, gain valuable new information, connect with resources, identify prospects, develop community support, give back, build bridges, undo fear, ignorance and causes of suffering. Be part of the solution in the community, build relationships to expand your possibilities and resources. For more info see www.archway2.org.
Sign up here in this group for FREE reminders. Admission and networking are free; self-pay for lunch or a drink; a separate (optional) donation to charity is appreciated (but not required). Invest in a better future and mark your calendar so we can introduce to you to new community allies each month on the 3rd Sundays at the Burma Restaurant.
(Note for disclosure: we do not receive any commission from the restaurant, the restaurant was selected because it is only one block from the Chinatown/Gallery Place (red line) subway Metro station; they give us the entire restaurant (2 rooms) every 3rd Sunday for our event; their food is excellent and very reasonable for Downtown DC. It saves time and is convenient to return to the same place and time each month.)
This program is organized by volunteers, changemakers and residents like you. Our mission is to extend joy and friendship by developing allies and friends, locally and globally for Chinatown DC, for Washington D.C. and for America! Come and help to build One City! Help build community Spirit! Help bridge cultural, digital and other divides in downtown Washington D.C.!
The photo and logo is the largest single span Friendship Archway monument called for by ABC Allies, designed by architect Alfred H. Liu and erected in 1986 at 7 and H Street NW, Wash. DC, next to the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station exit. It is a call for friendship among people of diverse backgrounds. Sooner or later we will manifest what we hold in mind, so please join us to manifest the Spirit of Friendship, Joy and Appreciation in the community! www.archway2.org
