WebRTC and Real time communications for the web, mobile, and IoT
Details
WebRTC is a rapidly developing standard, open source platform, and developer movement bringing real time communications to the web and mobile apps with just a few web API’s. This is a follow-up to our first event last December where we introduced WebRTC, its use cases, and getting started with development. This time we will dig a bit deeper with tips and tricks for developing with WebRTC in a variety of environments from local Boston speakers.
We have another packed agenda with talks that include:
• What’s new with WebRTC - Chad Hart of webrtcHacks (http://webrtchacks.com/) will provide an update on the amazing progress WebRTC has made in the past several months
• WebRTC from a Flash developer perspective – Chris Allen ofInfrared5 (http://www.infrared5.com/) will talk about how working with WebRTC compares with Flash
• Building WebRTC Reliably – Jim Donovan of Oracle (http://www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/communications/web-rtc-session-controller/overview/index.html) will talk about how to build WebRTC reliably at scale
• WebRTC for Embedded Systems – Chris Ciotti of GE InspectionWorks (https://inspectionworks.com/#/) will discuss the exciting work he is doing to embed real time communications into inspection systems
• WebRTC on Wearables – Giorgio Natili of McGraw Hill Education (http://www.mheducation.com/) will do a walkthrough of how to load WebRTC on Android Wear
