"Open Connecticut" project w/ State Comptroller Kevin Lembo [Civic Hack Night]

Where exactly do CT tax dollars come from? And where they go?

I am pleased to announce that CT State Comptroller Kevin Lembo (http://www.osc.ct.gov/about.htm) will join us to talk about Open Connecticut, an initiative to bring greater transparency to the state’s economic development effort! Historically, pockets of state financial information have been available to the public, but scattered across agencies, with websites of varying usabilitiy. The goal of Open Connecticut is to centralize this financial information in an easy-to-navigate portal, making it possible for anyone to "follow the money".
